About Me
I spent over a decade treating kids in corporate medicine. I followed the protocols, checked the boxes, and did everything I was trained to do. And I kept watching children plateau. Families were frustrated. I was frustrated. I knew something was missing, but I didn't have the framework to find it.
So I built one.
I founded Flourish Carolina, a highly specialized private practice in Charlotte, North Carolina, known for its integrative approach to identify and address root cause. With over 19 years of experience, I have developed deep clinical expertise in infant and child feeding, pediatric pelvic floor, sensory and motor development, and the connection between nutrition, sleep, and nervous system health. I am also a national lecturer and faculty member who has spoken for organizations such as MedMaps and TACA.
Through Bri The Peds OT, I mentor clinicians to assess and treat children through a whole-child, systems-based lens, connecting feeding, airway, sleep, gut health, and behavior in ways traditional training never taught us to. As a PANDAS parent, I have sat on the other side of the table, navigating complex medical challenges without clear answers. That experience deepened my commitment to advocating for comprehensive, root-cause care and shaped everything I teach.
This is not a framework taught in grad school. It is the one I built because pediatric medicine needs more clinicians willing to look deeper. This program exists to help you become one of them.
